Sabrina Khan - Consultant Dermatologist

Dr Khan consults on all general dermatology conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and acne. She also diagnoses and treats benign and malignant skin lesions.

Dr Sabrina Khan completed her undergraduate training at Bart’s and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry. During her post graduate medical training, she undertook a clinical diploma in dermatology for which she was awarded a distinction. She went on to successfully secure a one-year clinical fellowship at the world-renowned St John’s Institute of Dermatology in London, prior to undertaking specialist dermatology training in the Thames Valley Deanery.

Dr Khan consults on all general dermatology conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and acne. She also diagnoses and treats benign and malignant skin lesions. She has a specialist interest in vulval dermatology and understands that seeing a specialist regarding genital skin conditions can be an especially daunting prospect. She takes the time to explore concerns and is committed to empowering women in their skin health. She is the dermatology vulval service lead in Oxford and has led a national audit on vulval extra-mammary Paget’s disease. In addition, she runs a joint oral medicine-vulval dermatology clinic with a visiting oral medicine specialist from the Eastman Dental Hospital in London.

Given her strong interest in teaching, she completed a postgraduate certificate in academic practice, attaining a distinction and achieving fellow status of the Higher Education Academy. She thoroughly enjoys her role as a communication skills tutor and is a British Association of Dermatologists mentor. She continues to undertake research activities relating to skin cancer, having published widely in peer reviewed journals and has presented both nationally and internationally on a range of topics.

In her spare time Dr Khan enjoys reformer Pilates, as well as frequenting the theatre to see musical or ballet performances. She is a keen baker
