Jon Clayton is married to Dr Rima Clayton and is a chartered accountant. He began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers, qualifying in 1999. Following PwC, Jon worked for BG Group, an oil and gas company based in Reading, until the company was taken over by Shell. Rather than commute into London, Jon opted for a change of career. 

Having always wanted to run his own business, Jon persuaded Rima of the merits of setting up her own clinic.  As with their domestic life, Jon made it clear who would be in charge, and now happily follows Rima’s lead in work matters as well as at home!  
  
Jon has spent the last three years developing all aspects of Derma Reading, from branding to building. He continues to develop the business and leads on all aspects of finance, marketing and IT.  
  
In addition to looking after three kids, Jon is a keen cyclist, and was preparing to cycle from London to Paris in 24 hours before COVID-19 struck, and the adventure was cancelled.  Jon was overjoyed to complete the challenge in May 2022.
