Skin Lumps
Lumps are areas on or within the skin that can look and feel different to the surrounding healthy skin.
They are often elevated from the rest of the skin, and they may have a distinctly different texture to the surrounding skin, which is relatively uniform.
While some lumps are relatively harmless and just look unsightly, others can interfere with daily life either because they impair function, or because they negatively impact a person’s self-confidence, so it’s reassuring to know that in many cases, they can be treated.
