Before transitioning to the UK healthcare system in 2017, her journey began as a general practitioner in Serbia, where she honed her medical skills and expertise over several years. From managing diverse patient caseloads in community health centres to collaborating with specialists for comprehensive care, she gained invaluable experience in diagnostics, treatment, and emergency response. While her academic pursuits in general medicine were briefly interrupted due to relocation, her commitment to healthcare excellence remains unwavering.

With a passion for providing compassionate care, she embarked on her UK journey in the health care sector in dementia and palliative care. The time spent there reinforced her belief in the power of human connection and the profound impact that compassionate caregiving can have on individuals facing illness and vulnerability.

Sandra also has an interest in dermatology, and so became a part of the Derma team in 2023.

Outside of work, Sandra likes spending time with her family by going on walks in her spare time. She also enjoys pilates.
