Diane Murphy

Diane leads Derma’s nursing team, making sure every patient receives safe, high-quality care and that our nurses and healthcare assistants are supported to develop their skills.

Diane trained in Ireland, qualifying in General Nursing from the Institute of Technology Tralee, before moving to the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading, where she worked in adult day surgery and went on to qualify as a midwife at the University of West London. She then spent many years at Circle Hospital Reading, first as a surgical nurse and later in leadership roles, latterly as Clinical Services Manager responsible for the hospital’s inpatient wards. She has also worked as an outpatient nurse at The Forbury Clinic in Reading.

Diane brings a wealth of clinical and leadership experience to Derma, with a strong focus on patient safety, training and making sure every patient feels well cared for.

Outside of work she enjoys running, Pilates, travelling and reading.
